We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for our Operations division Job Summary Internally externally services the customers by maintaining their inventory through performing and directing record center special projects, safety, security audit compliance, building maintenance other tasks including retrievals, incoming, destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals and other projects as requested. Essential Functions * Prepares customer site project evaluation which includes cost analysis, evaluating scope of project, and prepares estimate for customer proposal. * Provide coordination daily direction to permanent and/or temporary employees in order to accomplish specific project or task. Monitor employee's work for productivity, quality and completion and make recommendations to Operations Manager regarding staff assignments. * Process or oversee all special project orders including, scanning carton barcodes and locations, storing items in record center, downloading scanned information, investigating and resolving all exceptions and, at times, closing the order in the internal tracking systems. * Process, maintain and close out all month end billing related items pertaining to Special projects. * Ensure market implementation of and compliance with corporate safety security programs. * Assists Managers and Supervisors in effectively evaluating and mitigating the risks to their operations. * Arranges for training internal resources to help implement defined program strategies. * Responsible for the communication of safety security standards, safety and security awareness and education material, and audit program compliance to established standards. * Maintain the operating condition of buildings and equipment and completes minor repairs. * Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments. * Makes minor repairs and maintains physical structure of facilities. * Performs or assists with light maintenance duties within facilities (light bulbs, painting, A/C filters). * Schedules all outside major building repairs such as plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Job Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * High School Diploma or Equivalent. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to lead a work group. * Microsoft Office Skills. * 2+ years experience in a service industry and/or a team focused environment. Physical Requirements of the Job Standing Must tolerate frequent periods of maintaining entire body in erect posture with static weight bearing on one or both legs without changing position. Frequency: Frequent Duration: 2- to 3-hours Work Performed: Removing files from storage at customer locations Sitting Must tolerate frequent periods of resting entire body weight on buttocks without change in position. Frequency: Frequent Duration: Up to 2 hrs. one two times per day Work Performed: Driving to and from locations Walking Must tolerate Constant periods of moving the entire body from one location to another with the use of legs. Frequency: Constant Duration: Up to 200 yd. at one time Work Performed: Transporting materials from customer storage locations to delivery vehicle Pushing Must tolerate frequent periods of exerting force upon or against an object to move it away from the body Frequency: Frequent Duration: Up to 500 at one time up to 40 times per day Work Performed: Moving handcarts (loaded with boxes) from client storage locations to delivery vehicle (may be combined with pulling) Pulling Must tolerate frequent periods of exerting force upon or against an object to move it toward the body Frequency: Frequent Duration: Up to 500 at one time up to 40 times per day Work Performed: Moving handcarts (loaded with boxes) from client storage locations to delivery vehicle (may be combined with pulling) The ideal applicant will have current exp. in a service industry.
