Project Cost Engineer Job in Reading, Southern UK
My Client who are a leading consultancy are looking for a Project Cost Engineer to join them on nuclear projects
The Role -
* Working on Major projects within the nuclear sector
* To prepare monthly cost reports, and be responsible for identifying any critical areas
* Be part of the preparation of change control procedures
* To identify any variances that need to be made to any costs on the projects
* Working closely with the project team on a day to day basis in regards to management of project controls activities
* Produce relevant cost control reports
* Overall provide a comprehensive cost engineering service
The Person -
* Knowledge of the Nuclear sector is essential
* Project Cost engineering on nuclear projects either new build to decommissioning of nuclear sites
* The ability to produce reports
* Change control procedures and management
* The ability to manage financial performance
* Educated to a degree level or Equivalent
* I.T Literate
* Cost Engineering knowledge
* Be able to forecast financial info
* Great team player
* Show a good understanding of customers needs
