Recognised as a clear leader in their field, our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Data Analysis Deputy Manager to join their team in this newly created position.
Reporting directly to and working alongside the Associate Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders relating to the investigation and development of specific projects, policies and practices and financial matters which are of a complex and specific nature. In this role you will also be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a small team. Supervision will be limited as you will have an innovative and proactive approach.
Other responsibilities include:-
- Management of a small team
- Project and Portfolio Management
- Development of complex financial models and analysis
- Understanding of trends and statistical analysis of data
- Researching of projects
- Preparation of written reports
- Presentation of business cases
- Working within budgets
- Reviewing existing processes to achieve greater efficiencies
- Complying with financial and management accounting practices
To be successful in this exciting role you will have demonstrated experience and understanding of project management and accounting practices and principles. Ideally you will be degree qualified and had three to five years experience in a similar role. You will have a high level of extracting and analysing data of a financial and non-financial nature and develop decision supporting models to undertake and manage projects.
More importantly you will be a proactive "people-person" individual who maintains a high standard of work performance and work ethic. In addition you will show initiative in delivering results to the business and be able to add value to existing work lines. You will possess first-class written and verbal communication skills together with knowing how to work through policies and processes within the organisation.
