Project Data Analyst – Product Control recruitment
About the role
Responsibilities will include:
• Update and validation of Price Verification and historic cash-flow data for specific trade populations
• Reconciliation, manipulation and reporting of large quantities of data to a variety of audiences
• Calculation of provision of required data
• Ensuring clean handover between Finance / Modelling team and other workstreams as project progresses
• Communication of status / updates to finance and project management
• Liaison across the business
Person requirements
• Qualified accountant or equivalent
• Project planning and execution experience
• Experience in working across a wider team, ensuring appropriate handoff between workstreams
• Ability to meet both regular and ad-hoc deadlines.
• Strong numeric and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles in relation to fair value, accrual and hedge accounting
• Previous exposure to derivative products (in particular interest rate derivatives) is preferred
