Project Delivery Lead (Liquidity & Funding Models) recruitment
This role is for a Project Delivery Lead to work on a high profile, strategic project to develop and extend an Operational Cash Ladder (OCL) application. The role involves taking a hands on, day to day lead on the OCL’s deliveries and monthly releases. It will also involve very close co-operation with the OCL development and test leads and business analysts.
OCL is a new system within UBS for use by FX/MM traders and Group Treasury. It was delivered in 2011 and forms part of UBS’s Group Treasury Programme, which was set up in response to the recent market crisis to improve UBS’s Liquidity and Funding Risk Management processes.
Key Role Responsibilities Include:
- Full understanding of Operational Cash Ladder functional requirements and system landscape
- Full understanding of the Operational Cash Ladder business remit, objectives and processes
- Assisting the manager and the business analysts with the prioritisation of business objectives into achievable deliveries and coming up with the release schedule
- Driving the resolution of project issues and managing project risks
Required Skills Include:
- Proven ability as a project delivery lead including generation of project delivery plans in line with business priorities
- Software Lifecycle planning and control
- Proactive issue, risk and project task management
- Ability to communicate project objectives, plans, issues and risks in a clear manner which can be easily interpreted by all those within the project team
- Experience working as part of medium to large, enterprise change programs across the development project lifecycle
- Knowledge of core development lifecycle concepts, including project phases, project deliverables, and feature prioritization
- Ability to understand quickly the functional components of a system, so as to define business requirements
- Strong communication skills (including project reporting and frequent interaction with project stakeholders)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Investment Banking financial accounting, control and reporting concepts and their underlying business processes
- Appreciation for the fundamentals of Finance and Treasury functions
- Knowledge and experience of enterprise financial accounting, control, and reporting systems
- Experience working on development teams using Agile Development Methodology techniques
