Our client is a globally recognized institution that has offices in all the major finance centers globally. They boast a wide selection of finance streams and solutions for corporates and retail customers alike and have a very well established client base. Due to increasing growth within their investment management stream they are looking for a Project Delivery Manager to bolster the IT leadership group.
Team description
This opportunity is working within the Funds / Securities area of our client and being responsible for the Middle and Back office systems that are relied upon by the organisations partners, both existing and new. The team is responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients and the allocation of sufficient resources to broaden the flows from existing clients.
Role description
In this position you will be the key IT leader linking the business and technology teams across both internal areas and external clients. This will see you report directly into the company’s COO and regular liaising with the C-Level business and IT heads of other organisations, so very strong stakeholder management is essential. The Investment Management services is deemed and under developed area of this organization so this role will be instrumental in the growth and future revenues generated within this area, so a sound knowledge of Investment Accounting and Middle Offices Process is essential. The main deliverable for this opportunity is to provide strategic direction and guidance, with effective management of change and projects within the Investment’s group and to ensure the feedback loop for stakeholders is maintained.
Requirements of the role:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Investment / Funds Management industry
- Intimate knowledge of Middle and Back Office Flows / processes
- Strong track record of C-Level stakeholder management and presenting to this level
- Experience as an IT leader in finance (5yrs+)
- Strategy and Planning experience in major IT / Business Projects
- Knowledge of Financial Product’s – Ideally Fixed Income (Swaps, Repos, Interest Rates etc)
- Managing local and regional multi-functional teams.
- Full working rights for Australia
