Project Director – SVP recruitment

Responsibilities:

The Group is comprised of the following workstreams:
• Regional Governance (NAM, EMEA, LATAM, ASIA)
• Vendor Governance
• Fraud Management
• Policy Standards
• Reporting Analytics
• GTS Service Quality Group

• Responsible for project / program management and readiness of the initiatives related to FATCA, RCSA re-engineering, Unit Costing and Activity Based Costing.
• Serve as a strategic partner with Technology, Client Delivery, Product, and ICG functions and organizations.
• Contribute to effort to develop broad quality analytics to be used by senior leaders in forming quality strategy globally.
• Ensure that projects are closely monitored and kept on track for milestones completion
• Develop and review all Project Plans and Issue Logs for projects.
• Review all deliverables for all projects to confirm conformance to standards and consistency across regions.
• Develop and review all Status Reports for projects focusing on accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
• Develop mitigation strategies with all process owners for risks and issues.
• Coordinate necessary resources across all regions to ensure deliverables are achieved.

• Work with multiple internal business partners to identify and implement strategic quality best practices.
• Drive resource management decisions.

• Deal with complex and highly variable issues with substantial potential impact.
• Apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations.
• Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level personnel.
• Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Directly impact the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services

Qualifications:

•Expertise in Financial Services a must especially Cash Management and Trade Operations and/or Securities Funds Services.
•Strong experience base in Operations, Client Delivery, Technology business or Product Management coupled with the passion to make a difference in the management of complex, multi-dimensional offerings.
•High level of energy to work effectively in a multi-functional environment with multi-threaded goals.
•BA/BS and/or MBA preferred with 10-15 years relevant financial services management experience.
•A proven track record with over 5 - 10 years of project management experience and an understanding of accepted PMO standards.
•Ability to influence partners and drive cross-functional work reaching optimal solutions to complex problems iteratively.
•Attention to detail, comprehensiveness of content and ability to see multiple assignments to completion under aggressive deadlines.

•Ability to work independently, ability to multi-task and drive multiple assignments to completion.
•Excellent communication skills required to influence and negotiate with senior leaders. (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
•Strong MS Office and MS Project skills.
•PMP Certification preferred .
