We have an immediate need for a Project Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our manufacturing client in Amherst, Ohio is seeking a Contract Project Engineer to help support an upcoming project. The successful candidate will have a minimum 10 years industrial/business experience with an emphasis on scheduling projects and problem solving in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Point contact for large project to ensure on-time delivery, budget, communication and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate business relationship with vendors/suppliers.
- Work with applications, manufacturing, product and field engineering staffs to respond to customer needs.
- Responsible for blanket order generation through purchasing on outside purchases.
- Interface with management of client customer companies in reporting order project status and negotiating schedules.
Education: Bachelors degree or associates degree with demonstrated technical experience.
- Local Area candidates a plus.
- Ability to travel will be required.
