Description:
Would like to be a Project Engineer for an industry-leading company in the University area? We have a contract-to-hire opportunity (or direct-hire if you really WOW them) for an electrical engineering professional to do the following:
-Design main control boards with an emphasis on protection equipment
-PLC control enclosures, selection of motor control components, programming PLC's and HMI's, documentation creation and field support and startup.
-Documentation includes all necessary wiring diagrams, panel layouts, material component descriptions, bills of materials, PLC ladder logic, HMI graphics, Control Narratives, Operation and Maintenance manuals, commissioning procedures, and other supporting documentation
-Develop detailed industrial control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
-Develop panel layouts, cabling diagrams, and PID drawings.
-Write specifications, technical procedures, bills of materials, and other related tools.
-Support project related activities.
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
-10 years experience in instrumentation and controls in PLC based systems in a heavy industrial environment.
-Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing, designing, programming, and troubleshooting equipment and control systems. -Specific experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
