Goodrich Aerostructures is seeking a Stress Engineer to join our growing southern California team in our Riverside,CA plant. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic collaborative environment requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. The primary task will be the design of bonded composite components for the A320NEO aircraft nacelle system. The task will also include mechanical design support of this nacelle system, as well as pneumatic, hydraulic and fire suppression systems. To that end, the task of the Project Engineer is to prepare and present documentation and proposals that effectively communicate Goodrich's ability to provide equipment that meets customer needs. Document designs that meet customer and regulatory requirements, and document the substantiation of the design through test and analysis. Develop and document design and analysis methods that advance the technical capabilities of Goodrich engineering. Schedule and meet the timely release of product definition to support internal the external requirements. The successful candidate will interface with OEM and Operator personnel for the purpose of communicating technical information and pro.

BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2 years of related experience, or an MS in Engineering and 1 year of related experience.

*CATIA V5 proficiency a must with 2,000 hours highly preferred.
*CATIA Composite Work Bench experience and FiberSim experience a plus.
*Composite aircraft and/or nacelle design s preferred.
*Lean Product Development/ Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.
*Excellent Microsoft Office skills are a must, with strong skills in MS Excel and MS Project
*SAP familiarity is and Team Center experience is a huge plus.
*Ability to communicate with all levels of staff from shop floor to Goodrich leadership is a must! Must have strong command of the English language with French language skills are a plus.
*The successful candidate must be highly organized and self motivated to help manage the customer(s), in a data driven professional manner.
*Must be a US Citizen or US Green Card Holder.
*Must have the ability to travel as needed domestically and internationally.
