Project Engineer – IV – A320neo Certification Team

The Project Engineer - IV will be responsible for supporting program certification activities within the A320neo nacelle program. Responsibilities will include development of certification project plans and maintain schedules for certification work packages, prepare test plans and reports, tracking of activities, and reporting project status to company leadership. The Project Engineer - IV will participate and eventually lead Lean or Continuous Improvement events to establish the certification approach and plan for nacelle products. He or she will develop status charts and maintain Visual Controls used in the management and reporting of certification activities. Will interface with the customer, program partners, other Goodrich facilities, and the various internal engineering teams to define, plan, and execute certification tasks. Coordinate and oversee the development and completion of certification documents and deliverables and ensure project budget and schedule targets are met.

*Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Masters Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
*Strong PC Skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
*Strong written verbal communication skills are essential for this position.
*Ability to work within a diverse engineering environment that promotes teamwork to accomplish tasks.
*Basic knowledge of structural design analysis and a basic understanding of engineering and supplier project management experience preferred.
*Knowledge of aerospace technical deliverables and technical data is preferred.
*Knowledge of nacelle, aerospace certification and testing activities are preferred.
*Current US Citizen or Green Card Holder required for this position.
