About the Job
Our client operates a large, highly profitable, top tier COMAH regulated manufacturing facility owned by a blue-chip European multi-national. This exciting facility employs numerous challenging processes including distillation, fusion and solvent recovery and is now set for an extended period of investment supporting a range of targets and objectives including new product introductions, HSE performance and reliability. The project engineer is responsible for the safe, cost effective and timely delivery of the design and construction of works projects. The project will cover utilities, infrastructure and unit operations and range in value for £200,000 to £10M. The post is open to any discipline engineer including civil, electrical, chemical or mechanical. The job holders responsibilities will embrace all phases of the project life cycle including safety, scoping and definition, quality, schedule, budget and estimation, installation, commissioning and start-up. A proven background in project engineering acquired within the chemicals, oil gas, refining, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or related sector is essential.
