Job title: Project Engineer
Permanent - Monday to Friday.
Location: Stroud
Salary: £30,000-£32,000 per annum dependant on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Engineer for a market leading business near to Stroud who specialise in the engineering of bespoke pumping systems for the oil and gas industries.
The role will entail:
Assist in the scheduling and monitoring of timescales with orders.
Liaising directly with client to ensure client requirements are met and engineering specifications complied with.
Understanding and complying with regulatory processes (eg ATEX, PED)
Controlling the manufacture of pressure vessels to ASME VIII PD5500 and liaising with Third Party Inspectors where applicable.
The raising of purchase order specifications and bills of materials ensuring project costs are monitored and maintained.
Experience and Education
Educated to HND or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
Previous work with the oil and gas industry would be desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of fabrication, welding, pipe work and electrical would be advantageous.
