We are currently recruiting a Process Engineer for our office in Nanuet, NY.

 

Education

B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or other engineering degree with process project experience in manufacturing.

 

Experience

Minimum 7 years of industrial project engineering experience involving process and related manufacturing applications including manufacturing support utility systems. Projects involving conveyors, filling, packaging, utilities and plant support are related.  

 

Responsibilities

Our Project Engineer will interface with clients on projects involving process mechanical design, specifications for process equipment and installation design packages, equipment procurement, managing vendors and contractors, electrical/ control and instrumentation design integration, as well as onsite installation and start-up support.

 

Requirements

This position requires a working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping instrument diagrams, basic piping system design, pump sizing, material handling methods, equipment, functional installation specifications, as well as process instrumentation control principles.  A practical understanding manufacturing operations is needed.

 

This position requires strong analytical skills, basic understanding of project management fundamentals as well as strong computer skills.

 

Travel Requirements

30% to 60 % travel will be required to execute projects, support installation and start-up activities, and attend client meetings.   The majority of this travel will be within the Northeast region.
