Project Engineer Sr
Specific Job Description The successful candidate will work with the SOF CLSS Rotary Wing Aviation Program Management Office providing general project support to deliver consistent and expected results. The required knowledge areas are: data center, network, desktop, and database. The role will be to support management in ensuring perfect program performance, meeting all goals for schedule, technical, and cost elements. It will be necessary for the candidate to build effective relationships with management, finance and business operations, manufacturing as well as mission area IPT leads. Some of the specific tasks are: ? Review cost accounts and performance against the approved baseline ? The candidate will be responsible for ensuring staff meet all objectives relative to customer response, and problem tracking and resolution ? Review technology for application to contract ? Develop and automate system performance metrics and reports ? Streamline projects, track status, provide senior level updates to plans ? Create and give senior level presentations Standard Job Description Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
