Design Group is currently recruiting for Intermediate / Senior  PROJECT ENGINEERS for our local EPC client.

 

SPECIFIC PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

·       Experience with Oil Gas operating facilities and demonstrated knowledge of planning projects within an operating facility.

 

and / or

 

·       Experience with a pipeline operating facilities and demonstrated knowledge of planning projects within an operating facility.

 

and / or

 

·       Experience with a power generation operating facilities and demonstrated knowledge of planning projects within a power operating facility.

 

 

Required Experience:

 

·         Intermediate Project Engineer: Minimum 10 years in an engineering discipline or related project engineering role with at least one project assignment as a lead discipline engineer. 

 

·         Senior Project Engineer: Minimum 15 years of experience with cross discipline experience in project engineering and at least one project assignment as a project engineer.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

·    Progressive work experience, including supervision roles, preferably in project engineering but may include other relevant types of engineering start-up, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants or engineering/construction firms.

·    P.Eng member with APEGGA in good standing.

·    Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written).

·    Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.

·    Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

·    Communications in a proactive, accurate and positive manner at all times.

·    Proficient technical ability and awareness and proficient knowledge of project engineering processes and procedures.

·    Working knowledge of industry/regulatory standards, procurement and construction systems and procedures.

·    Take charge and be responsible for attaining the project design and engineering goals with regards to quality, health, safety, environment, cost and schedule.

·    Skill in customer relations management.

·    Communicate complex technical issues and able to recommend solutions to the client, project and functional management as directed and as appropriate.   Communicate project issues effectively and instil customer focus.
