Project Finance
Based in Edinburgh or London you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the lending business and report directly to the Chief Executive.
As a Relationship Director / loan originator in the Project Finance team your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- A proven track record in originating and completing loan projects in the renewable sector.
- Strong business development skills with a broad market knowledge and presence.
- Sound risk management and financial analysis skills including the ability to write credit papers incorporating a detailed credit analysis and presenting at credit / investment committees.
- Substantial experience in principal lending to project finance borrowers in the renewable energy sector.
- Demonstrable track record Degree educated.
- IMC / CFA preferred.
- 4+ years’ experience in project finance.
Responsibilities
As a Relationship Director / Loan Originator in the Project Finance team your main responsibilities will involve:
- Originating new client relationships for the core product set (lending and fees), and risk advisory products (FX and interest-rate hedging).
- The on-going relationship management of those new client relationships including developing such relationships, identifying cross sales opportunities and to introduce the relevant product partners to meet the client’s needs.
- Writing detailed credit papers and financial modelling.
- Meeting targets for profit, credit quality, new clients, cross-sales, client satisfaction and retention.
