Project & Finance Administrator

My client, a leading Central London based management consultancy, are looking to hire a Project Finance Administrator. The job has arisen due to my client's aggressive growth plans and desire to outstrip its competitors. My client has a preference for candidates with professional services (i.e. legal, insurance, consultancy or financial services) experience. Candidates who are currently pursuing (or have completed) their AAT qualification are extremely desirable. It is imperative that candidates have strong Work in Progress (WIP), billing and revenue recognition exposure.

The role's duties includes maintaining Work in Progress (WIP), revenue recognition, billing, expense work, audit preparation and analysing debt. Candidates should have experience liaising with non finance people, i.e. project managers and project directors. An important part of the role is reporting to senior managers and making recommendations with regards to budgets, costs and revenue. This is done during weekly meetings. Candidates with a good level of experience with maintaining Work in Progress (WIP), billing and revenue recognition are extremely desirable (this part of the role is incredibly important). Candidates should have very good practical experience with an accountancy package such as Oracle, Sage Line 50, Navision, SAP, SUN or QuickBooks.

My client are based in an attractive part of London, in close proximity to theatres, parks and restaurants. The team are very accommodating to new starters and it is a tremendously meritocratic working environment.
