Project Finance Analyst recruitment

Project Finance North America (“PF NA”) has broad responsibility for all project and structured financings executed for BBVA clients in the U.S. and Canada. The common feature of these transactions is that they are complex, highly structured, secured, cash flow-based transactions, with limited or no recourse to the clients’ balance sheets.  Instead, BBVA looks to the successful construction, operation and revenue-generation of the specific project being financed for its repayment.

As such, strong analytic skills, attention to detail and the ability to process and synthesize information from a variety of different sources and disciplines (financial, engineering, legal, market analysis, insurance, etc) is critical.  PF NA’s mandate includes pursuing advisory, structuring, underwriting, arranging and lending opportunities across a wide range of sectors such as PPP/infrastructure, renewable and thermal power, and oil gas.

To facilitate the growth of the business, PF NA is comprised of three execution teams with the following foci: PPP/infrastructure, renewables and thermal power and oil gas.
