Project Finance Senior Associate/Principal (CIS & Turkey )

Ensuring that the Investment Analysts follow up on deals sourced by the Business Development department and initiates the upstream investment process in a timely manner.

Coordinating with the Partnerships function to communicate fund requirements to be addressed through syndications deals, in discussion with the Head term Finance. Providing technical assistance in structuring syndications deals, where required.

Supervising the Investment Analysts in the preparation of first desk assessment reports for deals sourced by Business Development (or in response to funding requests received), and their subsequent presentation for DCM approval.

Supervising the Due Diligence process and validating the key outcomes of the exercise. Leading the process to secure Investment Committee approval by supervising the preparation of the Back to Office Report, and overseeing the final presentation.

Ensuring that the necessary documentation and paperwork is in place, and is in line with the guidelines from the Risk and Legal departments.

Ensuring that deal structuring is carried out in line with the overall risk and investment guidelines, and as per the parameters finalized during the Investment Committee Meetings.

Participating in the establishment of  new projects and overseeing performance of existing investment projects.

Assessing investment performance- tracking asset performance and raising discrepancies that impact investor return for ICD to the Head Term Finance for further review and action.

Coordinating with the Risk Management team to ensure that recovery strategies are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintaining relationships with key clients, and overseeing the portfolio management for key investments, thereby ensuring smooth implementation of overall portfolio operations.

Ensuring that ICD's network of strategic alliances is leveraged to bring in deep sector expertise, where required. Tracking ICD's Term Finance portfolio and key prospects to identify the areas where technical skills and expertise will be required to support ICD beneficiaries effectively going forward.
