Project Finance, Senior Credit Analyst
The purpose of the role is to carry out a thorough analysis of credit applications, mainly for project finance, to prepare credit reports and recommendations to the management. This will involve developing internal and external relationships with origination teams and management, brokers, accountants and lawyers amongst others. The position includes monitoring the loan portfolio to maintain a balanced and quality asset base as well as tracking developments across specific industry sectors to identify major risk factors and adverse trends that may affect existing clients or the quality of the portfolio.
The successful applicant will have:
- Good credit analysis and research skills.
- Confidence in cash flow analysis/modelling and the ability to understand and interpret balance sheets and PL accounts.
- Experience of lending to and analysing Project Finance transactions in the EMEA region.
- The ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and information succinctly, clearly and logically verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of an additional European language would be useful though not essential.
