Project Financial Analyst
This is an exciting Financial Analyst position which will give you a high level of operational and commercial exposure. The opportunity is with an established business which has grown through a combination of acquisitions and a highly entrepreneurial approach to their markets.
The position will be focused on tracking the financial outcomes of a number of change, growth and structural change projects that business has embarked on. Not only will you be expected to challenge and support commercial decisions, but the Finance Director will rely on your ability to develop and provide insightful reports on the costs and benefits being delivered.
In this capacity you will work alongside a wide range of senior stakeholders including Finance Directors, Change Directors and Project Managers. This will mean that you will need to be confident in your ability to support them and challenge them. When developing reports and forecasts, your challenge will come in looking at how you identify the results from specific projects and differentiate it from business as usual.
In my view this is a high profile opportunity in the business that links Finance and Management teams with the key projects that will help the business grow further.
We are therefore looking for a senior finance professional with experience of supporting and challenging commercial teams. You will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and be able to show how you have been responsible for financial management of projects as well as developing reports and forecasts that outline they key benefits and risks. Previous experience with projects, insurance or financial services will be a distinct advantage, but not a necessity.
