About our Client
Our client are a Brisbane-based coal producer who hold a significant presence in the mining industry. With four well established mine sites within Queensland, the company is continuing to extend their operations both open cut and underground. Due to their active exploration and rapid growth, our client is now seeking Project Geologist to join their team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for:
- Collecting and Interpreting Geological Data
- Modeling and Estimation
- Grade Control and Core Logging
- Data Management
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this Exploration Geologist role, you will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in Geology or a similar discipline
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Previous coal experience is essential
