Project Geoscientist
Are you interested in joining one of Canada’s leading mining companies?
We are looking for a Project Geoscientist who has current experience in resource modeling/estimation to join our Research Development team at our world class Technology Centre based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Based out of Mississauga, you will be travelling within Canada on short term assignments to ongoing operations and projects. Working cross-functionally with a number of teams and stakeholders you will provide technical guidance in resource modeling on exploration projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of the geological resource modeling process.
Education:
Undergraduate Degree in Geology
Must be eligible to register with the professional engineering and geoscientists association in Ontario (APGO)
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years or relevant experience in resource estimation within the last 5 years
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge and experience with Datamine
Knowledge and usage of MS Office would be an asset
Strong interpersonal skills; interaction with other technical staff is an important part of the position
