Project Lead FPA
* Manage/co-ordinate FPA's programme of projects including aspects of projects that are sponsored by other Departments/Functions but have an impact on FPA. Current major projects include the redesign of the Group Planning processes and the EVM auditability project.
* Run all phases and project processes according to best practice. Setting up projects, establishing teams, defining the scope, defining the control framework, calculating the budget, controlling and driving the execution. Responsible for communication within the project and to stakeholders, especially towards senior management.
* Give guidance and coaching to project members.
* Demonstrate strategic thinking and act as a change manager.
* Define proposed prioritisation of projects and resources, including interaction with multiple stakeholders and project sponsors.
* Closely interact with other Corporate Functions (e.g. IT), enabling a good cooperation among the teams and verify that the provided solutions meet the needs of Finance.
The opportunity
The position holder will interact with various business areas and functions as needed, and will:
* Lead and manage the planning redesign project within the time and budget parameters established and approved.
* Establish and maintain solid working relationships with other areas of Finance, Products, Client Markets, Asset Management and Risk Management function holders
* Identify and drive improvement/change across the organization that improves the robustness of FPA reporting and analysis
* Timely completion of related IT developments.
* Ensure the projects are resourced adequately to support the workload of the group.
* Enhance the reporting of the status of the FPA programme of projects
* Develop and manage the assigned budgets.
* Co-ordinate with internal and external auditors and other risk management personnel. This includes co-ordination and execution of audit/risk management requirements
* This role may also be based in Armonk, US
Requirements:
* Experience and proven track record of successful complex project management, leadership and ability to manage high workload and focus on deliverables.
* Capable to interact smoothly with senior management.
* A strong background in financial economics and financial reporting
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Curiosity and pragmatism
* Detail oriented
* Excellent communication abilities
* Fluent in English
