Current Top Secret - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, self starter to perform project leadership activities as well as provide Program Management Office (PMO) support for the Boeing Program Manager for a classified program in Northern Virginia. Project Support Lead applicant will be a key interface and resource for the leadership teams within the program. In addition, the Project Support candidate will be staff support to an Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead. The IPT includes the Configuration Management Team, Web Team, Program Security and Enterprise Training. Applicant will create, analyze and present weekly and monthly performance reporting packages. Lead and participate in Program Process Improvement (PI) and Risk Management Teams. Perform other Project lead duties as assigned by Program Manager (PM). Uses ingenuity and innovation to compile or create complex reports for management reviews and tracking performance to plan. Applicants should have a get the job done well attitude. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are required. A strong process improvement focus coupled with attention to customer satisfaction. The ability to manage multiple priorities and be flexible to changing requirements. Excellent analytical and communication abilities. Coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and line management. Candidate should be proficient in using the following tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Excel) as well as SharePoint. Technical + Proj Management Theory/Concept Basic - Complete knowledge of Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, project risk management, triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.) contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK R Guide). Preferred - Extensive and specialized knowledge of Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, project risk management, triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.) contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK R Guide). + Project Leadership Basic - Complete ability to accept, direct, and perform responsibilities and work assigned tasks as a project team member in support of the overall project. Preferred - Extensive and specialized ability to direct, delegate, and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects. Extensive and specialized ability to identify and resolve project related issues and provide solutions and/or recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the project. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have experience leading a Program Process Improvement or Risk Management Team? Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition? Do you have experience providing program management support functions? Do you have a current/active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or a current Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)? (Note: If you held a security clearance within the last two years, your clearance is considered current/active). Do you have work experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Excel)? Typical Education/Experience Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
