Overview:
The PMO Manager will be responsible for organizing, tracking, managing resources, and reporting status on all active and future RGH Enterprises technology projects. This position requires an organized individual with strong multi-tasking skills and an exceptional relationship building mindset. The ability to clearly communicate and interact with all levels of management and MIS personnel is key to being successful in this role.
We are currently in the midst of staffing our MIS team to support the continued growth of our organization and the investments we will be making in technology over the coming years. This position is a critical piece in ensuring our projects are properly staffed, delivery of solutions is both on time and on budget, and that our project owners are consistently informed of current status and milestone dates.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects through the use of a departmental project plan
· Reviews and manages all project milestone dates and takes action when dates are in danger of being missed
· Manage enhancement requests, defects, and project listing for specific lines of business through the use of a formal tracking system
· Work closely with the Business Analyst team members in ensuring all project aspects are being met according to plan
· Manage and act on potential risks/issues and provide proposals for solutions to senior management as needed
· Support and enforce the I.T. development methodology to ensure all configuration documents, change documentation, and technical specifications are followed
· Ensure that all test plans and test scripts are followed prior to implementation
· Assist with developing and managing software release plans
· Assist with coordination of end user training
Key Project Experience Preferred:
• 10+ years Project Management experience
• Proven track record of managing complex projects to timely and effective completion
• Excellent organizational skills are necessary for tracking status of multiple projects and requests
• Exceptional communication skills are required in dealing with multiple layers of management, system users, and technologists
• Must have experience in full development life cycle, strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to succeed
• Must be a team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision and work under tight deadlines
• Previous business analyst or development roles are a plus
• Healthcare/Distribution Industry experience is also a plus
Systems Experience Required:
· Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio)
Skills/Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Business related field is required
• Project Management certification is not necessary but is a plus
