Job Title: Project Management Officer (PMO)
Corporate Title: Associate/Vice President
Department: Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Projects
Location: Birmingham, UK

Overview:
CIB comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas.
CIB Central in Birmingham is adding Change Management resources to work on various projects. The Birmingham team will work closely with key stakeholders in London including Programme Managers, Senior Management, Subject Matter Experts. You will also develop strong relationships with Senior Programme and Project Managers, Business Analysts and other PMO staff.

This role will be focused on assisting senior management with governing and supporting the CIB Central change function.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Proactively improve the operations of the PMO
* Track progress of all orders coming into the Programme Office, monitor progress and co-ordinate delivery dates
* Maintain financial controls and systems for recording, monitoring, forecasting and budgeting of all team expenditure
* Fully support infrastructure and build projects including administration, organisation of project meetings and minutes
* Produce weekly and monthly Programme/Project Status and Resourcing reports
* Review Programme/Project Milestone and Resource plans
* Support all Project and Programme Managers with day to day running of project administration tasks
* Organise and facilitate closure of projects and review benefit analysis at the end of the project
* Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures
* Continue to update and improve project methodologies
* Responsible for tracking performance against new Service Level Agreements, to ensure there are no delays of orders of infrastructure for critical work-streams
* Review, collate, maintain and highlight changes to project plans
* Manage the department Sharepoint site and provide training to users
* Onboarding and offboarding of project resources
* Perform project governance reviews - ensuring that each project meets best practice and minimum CIB Change the Bank (CTB) standards

You will have:
* Previous PMO experience within several different PMOs, preferably including a PMO set-up
* A proven track record of PMO work, preferably within the Investment Banking Industry
* Broad understanding of Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking
* Knowledge of the front to back trade lifecycle, processes associated with financial markets and in particular, exposure to Front and Middle Office processing systems and processes
* In depth application of PMO skills and experience across the entire project development lifecycle
