Project Management Officer (PMO) recruitment

Data is a critical enabler to the various business and logistics functions across the Bank, providing a central source of high quality reference data (including Client, Account, SSI, Instrument, Issuer, Pricing, Calendars) to those functions. Following a Group Executive decision, a Group Data Program was established which combined previously separate Data and Technology groups. A program was set up Enterprise Client Data Program (ECDP) with the mandate to provide a single source of Client data across the Bank.
Within ECDP, the Business Solutions team is responsible for delivery of IT solutions for client reference data producers and consumers across the board

As a Project Management Officer (PMO), you are part of a small team of professionals, who are responsible to coordinate and execute the various activities of the project office. In your role you will manage project office tasks for the project work stream managers and support them on content issues. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a project manager role while gaining insights into various aspects of client reference data.

Main tasks include:
• Active support of program management and work stream leaders in planning and tracking their projects
• Agree detailed timelines and tasks across all work streams
• Coordination and monitoring of project work stream progress
• Preparation and distribution of consistent project reporting, progress reporting and issue management
• Project organization (agenda, minutes, document handling)
• Preparation of presentations for senior management
• Facilitation and prioritization around ad-hoc topics with relevant stakeholders
• Contribution to content and deliverables of various project work streams

You should have some of the following qualifications:
• Ideally Degree from a University or Financial House with preferred follow-up education and experience in Project Management
• Experience and proven track record in a PMO and/or Project Management Function in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong organizational skills and capability to prioritize
• Ability to work under pressure and to deliver on short deadlines
• Excellent communication skills at management level
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and judgment skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven experience in reporting
• Commitment to quality, time and delivery, including execution and integration focus
• Proactive working style
• Ability to liaise with project stakeholders and manage relationships while being assertive to ensure completion of tasks
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing business needs and requirements
• Fluency in German and English both oral and written. English native speaker preferred.
• Proficiency of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), MS Access and MS Project desirable
• Business process modelling experience is a plus
