Project Management Systems Specialist

Job Description Job Description: Project Management Systems Specialist maintains and supports a project management tool, OneSource, ensuring that the system reflects project requirements and is effectively utilized. Additionally, the Project Management Systems Specialist provides training to project staff and partners on capturing data, assisting with project reporting requirements, and facilitating systemized review of data. Extensive travel is required so that each project can be visited and maintenance can be sustained. Specific Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project staff to ensure complete and accurate information is captured and documented in OneSource. - Work closely with the other OneSource staff to ensure consistency of implementation and usage. - Provide training for project staff and partners. - Travel to field offices to develop capacity within project offices. - Ensure the system reflects needed procedural controls for both technical and administrative functions including approvals, technical assistance management, procurement management, and monitoring and evaluation data management. - Assist in routine field data collection/extraction for quality review by appropriate managers and for use in project reporting. Skills Requirements: - Experience working on USAID funded projects and working with FAR and AIDAR regulations. - Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse project team. - Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues with minimal guidance. - Solid understanding of project management fundamentals. - Familiarity with technical and administrative implementation of development projects. - Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills. - Understanding of database development and procedures . - Ability to communicate with both technical and functional audiences. Basic Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree in International Development or a relevant field. - Three years of work experience in a related field. - Minimum two years of project coordination experience. - Minimum of one year of systems management or database experience. - Written and oral fluency in English required. - Ability and willingness to travel to developing countries and countries with current AECOM projects.
