Description
Responsibilities:
- Works as a project and task lead in assessing system life cycle methodologies, identifying areas of improvement and implement agile architecture for system life cycle.
- The Agile System life cycle implementation will serve as the foundational processes, procedures and framework for enterprise-wide system releases.
- Defines project scope and objectives based on advanced understanding of Architecture needs, business systems and agile industry requirements.
- Provides business, financial and programmatic aspects of project performance (i.e., contractual, administrative, deliverables management, program performance metrics and financial management).
- Supports the program and program manager in overseeing the implementation of Agile IT systems framework to meet business and user requirements for enterprise-wide system releases.
- Shares responsibility for program, financial and business management with Program Manager.
- Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports in order to show progress to Program Manager, and Government program authorities (i.e., management and clients).
Additional responsibilities include:
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Leads analysis and resolution of business problems associated with IT systems delivery and lifecycle framework.
- Implements planning, pilot implementation of agile lifecycle, training, and ongoing support.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems, gaps in current lifecycle process.
- Monitor and report project cost, performance and schedule data
leads cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. - Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Coordinates efforts with other technical professionals and teams.
- Maintains client contact to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Oversees several standard operating procedures, processes, governance framework policies that will be developed as part of agile lifecycle rollout.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field and ten (10) years business, financial or project/program support experience.
- Must have demonstrated program experience in agile lifecycle project management and implementation, strong understanding of agile methodologies, Information Systems, Communications or related field.
- Must have successful program/business management experience on large government technical contracts.
Additional Qualifications:
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- PMI ACP, Agile Scrum Master certifications desirable
