Role Summary/Purpose
As part of GE’s IT Compliance organization, this individual will support the implementation of GE-wide IT policies and standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with leaders from every GE business and gain exposure to a broad range of people, processes, and systems.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work across all GE businesses to implement new security and compliance requirements
  • Given a policy implementation strategy/framework, determine the required tactical activities and related timelines, and coordinate stakeholders across GE to execute
  • Assess the relationship between broad standards, business-specific situations, and technical solutions
  • Create or modify templates, tools, examples and enablers specific to a policy or standard
  • Analyze data and other information to identify risks and inconsistencies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with controllership, engineering, and solutions functions

    Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience

    Desired Characteristics

  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong planning management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical communities
  • Experience with Archer or similar GRC tools
  • Proven ability to coordinate and influence large groups
  • Process improvement experience
  • Experience working with relational databases
  • Experience writing or reviewing functional requirements
  • Exposure to SOX, ISO, or other control frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience recognizing and documenting risks
