Project manager - Financial services, reconciliations, software delivery, back office, PRINCE2, PMI, PMP, Six Sigma. London
Project manager required to join a leading financial services business based in the City of London. They are seeking a certified (PRINCE2, PMI, PMP, Six Sigma) project manager to run software delivery projects. You will come with 6+ years of relevant project management experience and have worked with back office / reconciliations systems along with multi asset class knowledge.
This role will require you to carry out the following:
* Ensure that business and technical requirements have been gathered and documented by the business analysts
* Build a coherent project plan and utilise project planning tools such a MS Project
* Review contact terms and manage the administration relating to each contract
* Monitor all changes in engagements and re-plan and re-deploy resources as required
* Manage client expectations throughout the engagement
* Assess the potential for account development and opportunities to maximise the sale of professional services
This is a role that will suit a candidate from a vendor background with extensive experience delivering complex software solutions to financial services clients. You will draw upon your asset class knowledge and technical understanding to successfully plan, manage and offer guidance during projects.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:
ü EU passport - owning to ad hoc travel occasionally
ü 6+ years experience in financial services technology
ü Extensive knowledge surrounding financial services technology, asset classes and software delivery
ü Knowledge of project management methodology and certifications such as Prince 2, PMI, PMP and Six Sigma
ü Strong leadership skills
ü Excellent relationship management skills
ü Strong written and verbal communications skills
ü Willingness to travel
ü Back office and/or reconciliations experience
ü Multi-asset class knowledge
