A major financial services organisation is looking for an project manager with extensive SDLC (software development lifecycle experience) and ideally order routing experience to join their team in London to deliver a major new platform into the business. My client is an established and global company with offices in many of the World's foremost financial centres and have extensive expansion plans in progress and planned for the next 12 months.
As the Project manager - SDLC, Software development life cycle, financial services - your responsibilities will include:
* Define project scope, goals and deliverables
* Work with offshore development and testing vendors
* Create project reports for the programme manager and steering committee
* Communicate with senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis
* Liaise with test management to devise testing strategies
* Proactively work to minimise risk and produce contingency plans
* Delegate responsibilities to appropriate personnel
To be considered for the role of Project manager - SDLC, Software development life cycle, financial services - you must have the following skills and experience:
* 5+ years of project management experience
* Extensive experience of the SDLC (software development lifecycle)
* Ideally some order routing experience
* Experience working with offshore development and testing teams
* Waterfall methodology experience
* Excellent communication skills
