Project Manager
Essential experience required:
- Experience with project managing software development projects (not simply infrastructure implementations), including liaising with and managing developers.
- Proven track record as Project Manager in delivering small to medium scale (£3m) software solutions in a demanding commercial environment – both internal software development projects and 3rd party product implementations.
- Experience in managing a complex project portfolio and multi-disciplinary project teams
- Experience of managing software delivery using Agile methods
- Working knowledge of the trade life-cycle
- Demonstrable MS Project knowledge required, MS Project Server experience preferred.
- ETRM experience would be ideal.
Technical requirements:
- Advanced degree in economics.
- Experience with Haver/Bloomberg/Reuters.
- Econometric skills will be an advantage.

- Excellent interpersonal / relationship building skills and able to successfully manage relationships within IT and between the project team and the business community
- First class organisational skills
- Ability to communicate complex subjects at different levels
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills and can articulate complex solutions without losing the audience
- Highly motivated to deliver results and ‘go the extra mile’ to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Strong academic background, educated to degree level and / or equivalent professional qualification or relevant business experience
- Industry recognised Project Management qualification is essential
