Project Manager
Responsibilities
o Drive the whole project lifecycle, with "hands on" responsibilities
o Ensure the delivery of the agreed and defined project deliverables, within the specified time frame, within the specified cost and to the required quality level
o Coordinate activities with clients, internal teams and within Implementation services, tracking progress of development against plan and budget
o Manage client's expectations and managing the communication to and from the client
o Assess, control and manage the risks to the project, prepare mitigation and contingency plans
o Lead, encourage and coordinate the project team
o Generate reporting via monthly reporting, steering control meetings and ad hoc reports
o Identify lessons learned and generate project closure report
Desired skills and experience
o Master’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Physics, Statistics, IT, Engineering,..
o Extensive project management experience in financial software or banking environment with a broad knowledge of financial instruments
o Knowledge of project management methodologies with in-depth knowledge of at least one methodology
o Demonstrated ability to deliver projects with direct accountability and experience of working on more than one project at one time is desirable
o Track record in delivering projects, which have delivered to cost, quality and timescale
o Ability to lead others when there is no direct line of command
o Ability to actively oversee and manage a functional requirements
o Understanding of technical concepts
o Client focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction.?
o Well developed communication skills including report writing skills and presentation skills
o IT literate - Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office
o Excellent command of written and spoken English??
o The position requires 40% travelling in the EMEA region
