Position Description:

External Job Description:
Responsible for the execution of all elements of the Project Management process to include the initiation, organization, communication (status reporting), testing and successful implementation of the project, while providing business and technology guidance to internal and external project resources. Candidate needs to have the ability to develop, track, manage, and execute all elements of Project Management SDLC process. The candidate needs to be able to clearly communicate project status, have the ability to maintain detailed project plans, and the ability to develop top talent. The individual would require minimal supervision. The individual would support the Project Management Office (PMO). Additional duties would include implementing the elements of the newly formed PMO at Saks. The candidate should have effective written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

BS/BA or equivalent
Minimum of 7-10 years of practical project management experience is desired
Proven capabilities in project management and delivery with successful track record of on-time and on budget projects
Experience interacting with development team and business partners
Ability to evaluate work performance, set objectives, and develop talent

Competencies:

Ability to develop, track, manage and execute all elements of Project Management SDLC process.
Ability to effectively communicate with regards to project status
Ability to develop and maintain detailed resource plans, project budget and ROI plans
