Project Manager
Role Overview:
Core deliverables of the project include building a process repository for Compliance Operations and ensuring the on-going upkeep of all process documentation in line with operating model standards. Additionally the project will define and deliver the formation of a centralised Quality Control function with span of control across all Compliance Operations locations. The project will work within the Business Risk and Control Management framework, to effectively report incidents and control gaps and work with regions and business to mitigate all such issues.
Experience:
- Must have strong project management experience preferably from an operations or compliance background.
- BPM or Lean Sigma exposure is preferable.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture or target operating model definition.
- Strong ability to work with extensive data to assist decision making process.
- Experience of working across multiple stakeholders and locations.
- Strong communication skills, confident to articulate issues and facilitate meetings.
- Strong written/presentation capability.
- Previous experience at HSBC desirable.
- Compliance/Risk background is required.
- Knowledge of banking systems and processes such as transaction processing or payments advantageous.
- Awareness of major regulatory bodies and programmes is preferable.
- Awareness and appreciation of operational, regulatory and reputational risk.
