Product Release is responsible for ensuring the availability of Oracle's Hardware and Software Products and Services in our E-business Suite applications according to Oracle standard processes and business practices. The group accomplishes this through part creation, model configuration, and pricing set up in the Inventory, Engineering, and Advanced Pricing e-Business Suite applications. Product Release is in Oracle's Manufacturing and Distribution organization, not Product Development. About the Project Manager Position: (Please note that Oracle does not provide a relocation package for this position. Only candidates who are currently local to Rocklin, California will be considered for this opportunity.) As Project Manager your responsibilities will include and may not be limited to the following: - Participate on corporate project initiative by capturing and documenting new cross-functional requirements and collaborating to help implement solutions with timely feedback and testing. Develop test cases and work with PRG/IT to complete testing and report out issues. - Support acquisition integration processes and projects to ensure new product offerings and legacy products from acquired companies are migrated in GSI systems - Identify and communicate with IT and MD Business Application team functionality bugs and enhancements affecting the system and application used by PRG. - Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. - Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. - Maintain positive working relationships within the department and across organizational boundaries to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: - 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. - BA/BS degree. - Strong familiarity with MS Office Application (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and/or Open Office Applications (Calc). - Working knowledge with Visio, Dreamweaver and HTML is a plus. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
