The Project Manager will be responsible for leading, executing, completing and reporting out on projects related to LOB within BSG. This work includes defining project scope, expected timelines, identifying required resources and time to meet the project requirements, evaluating problem areas and risk. Responsibilities will include: -- Working with team members to assign project responsibilities and defining deliverables while monitoring progress in order to take action when appropriate. -- Consulting with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business cases, including well developed project deliverables. -- Developing and revising project plans and budgets, work with users to understand complex problems and focuses on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines. -- Creating and delivering presentations to management on project goals and plans, including progress reports. Managing multiple projects and supporting other related activities as assigned. Performing other various duties as needed. Responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning, executing/ controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are across multiple departments within a line of business segment and medium risk, scope and complexity. Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work. Develops and revises project plans and budgets, works with users to understand complex problems and focuses on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines. Creates and delivers presentations to mid-senior level management on project goals and plans, including progress reports. May be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors. May manage a group of projects associated with a specific business function. Performs project risk analysis. May lead project staff, including training and providing input to performance evaluations. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years project management experience. Minimum Qualifications: -- 5+ years current and related project management experience. Preferred Skills: -- Experience managing projects using the WBR project methodology. -- Ability to understand and translate key strategic decisions into actionable initiatives. -- Experience in designing and implementing business processes that mitigate compliance, regulatory, and legal risks. -- Experience managing multiple projects and teams with complex technical and regulatory components. -- Familiar with industry rules and regulations. -- Demonstrated proficiency using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project and Visio. -- Working knowledge of BETA, SmartStation and/or Operations systems and processes -- Experience presenting information within group settings and to senior level management.
