Project Manager

Innovative fast growing technical firm is in search for an excellent, energetic, skilled Tier I Help Desk Support to join our team for an immediate opening on Government contracts. Please respond with your resume, experience and availability - as we will be scheduling interviews immediately.

The Candidate shall provide project management services in accordance with project management best practices such as the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK).  The Candidate shall:

Develop a Contract Project Management Plan (CPMP).  At a minimum, the CPMP shall include:

a.          Management approach to providing all Help Desk support services (Defined at the time of employment). 

b.          Management approach to ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with federal, USDA and THE GOVERNMENT travel policies and guidelines.

c.          Management approach to formulating and enforcing work and quality standards, establishing schedules, reviewing work in progress, and managing personnel, including its subcontractors, as relevant.

d.          Management approach to tracking and controlling costs, including accurately capturing and reporting fixed price, labor hours and non-billable hours for rework.

e.          Approach to providing recommendations to improve service or operate more efficiently.

f.           Approach to providing training and maintaining knowledge of contract personnel.

g.          Management structure, organizations, and roles and responsibilities, including maintenance of staff building clearances.

h.          Risk management process, including risks identified in this contract and actions to mitigate them.

Update the CPMP annually thereafter, or as requested by the Government.  

Manage all elements of the CPMP.  Allocate and schedule Contractor resources to ensure efficient and effective coverage that meets and complies with SLAs and PWS requirements.

Supervise and manage all Contractor personnel (including development, training, and evaluation) and building clearance requests in a timely manner so as to not disrupt service. 

Training must include annual Security Awareness and Privacy Act training provided by the Government through AgLearn.

Conduct trend analysis on a monthly basis of calls received and identify and document frequently asked questions (FAQs) and other helpful factors to make operations more efficient and effective.  FAQs and analysis shall be documented and provided to the Government for consideration within 10 business days of the last business day of the previous month.

Review monthly the PeopleSoft solutions relevant to the eTravel system to ensure that keyword answers are current and correct. 

Identify and notify the Government of eTravel system issues, including calling the eTravel system developer’s help desk to create a ticket.  Provide documentation of the ticket to the Government. 

Update the Government eTravel System standard operating procedures (SOPs) annually.

Update the Government eTravel System Users Guide quarterly.

Manage and ensure quality control for all services and deliverables.

Comply with the Government-wide requirements such as the Privacy Act.

Ensure that all deliverables and activities performed under the contract are completed successfully and are on-time and within budget.

Provide timely and accurate invoices to the Government.

Return employee’s building pass and  theGovernment furnished property when a Candidate staff member leaves the project permanently.

Ensure that Contractor staffs that have left the project no longer have email accounts, login privileges, or access to applications and the Government network immediately upon leaving.
