Group Finance is responsible for the production of relevant, timely and accurate statutory, financial and management information; as well as insightful analysis of business, product and customer profitability to support decision making and generation of shareholder value. The team also provides capital management, business planning, forecasting, tax and accounting advisory services to our businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and manage the project plan, define deliverables and project milestones, obtain commitment from stakeholders on project plan and subsequent revisions.
- End-to-end management of projects from project initiation (syndication / socialization, business case, stakeholders mapping etc) to preparation stage (communication plan, setup team, scope definition etc) to execution phase (status update, tracking and implementation) and to project closure phrase (lesson learnt, quality assurance review).
- Accountable for the day-to-day support to the program / project managers on the project administration from initial kick-off through to closure.
- Provides timely update and status reports on progress of projects to all key stakeholders.
- Fully support infrastructure and build projects, including administration, organization of project meetings and minutes.
- Perform risk assessment / identification throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with 3 - 8 years experience working in a Project Management Office, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of banking terminology, products and processes.
- Strong knowledge of project management framework / skills.
- Working knowledge of Singapore Accounting Standards and IFRS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Has a ‘can-do’ attitude / mindset with strong problem solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
- Candidates with experience managing and driving executions of finance system projects and led integration initiatives an added advantage.
- Candidates who are experienced project managers supporting Finance initiatives or (external / internal) auditors with a keen interest in project management will be considered.
