Project Manager - DataWarehouse/BI Regulatory Compliance

 

 

Role Summary/Purpose

Senior professional level role responsible for Change Release Management, PMO, Regulatory Readiness Compliance. Incumbent should be experienced in directing and managing teams to build, maintain and support PMO, regulatory readiness and compliance related initiatives for Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and IRRM (Interest Rate Risk Management).

 

Essential Responsibilities

·  Manage QA and Production for Data Warehouse, BI and IRRM from Release and Environment Management perspective

·  Collaborate with IT Change Release Management to ensure DWH, BI and IRRM projects follow the proper and documented policies/procedures/processes when change is being introduced to QA or Production (this includes emergency changes)

·  Lead PMO to:
1) Ensure DWH, BI and IRRM initiatives’ success from a PMO standpoint
2) Train/coach project managers and resources to ensure projects’ and resources’ compliance to documented policies, procedures and standards
3) Enforce integration and appropriate use of project management, program management and SDLC processes
4) Drive resource management process for allocating IT resources
5) Hold training sessions as/when needed

·  Work closely with IT PMO and remain aligned with IT Controllership to ensure PMO success within the organization

·  Work with IT PMO to maintain Project Management training standards and curriculum for Treasury

·  Gather SDLC and Change/Release Management feedback to share with respective control owners

·  Build and maintain effective working relationships with global control owners (PMO, Change/Release Management, Controllership)

·  Promote IT Compliance Controllership

·  Represent DW, BI and IRRM as part of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) in Change Control meetings (QA and Production).

·  Manage the DW, BI and IRRM releases (QA and Production). Manage dedicated contract employee personnel for DW, BI and IRRM releases.

·  Lead dedicated vendor and contract employees for regulatory readiness initiatives, PMO, Change Release Management for DW, BI and IRRM.

·  Lead and coordinate applications’ regulatory readiness efforts (SOX, compliance, certifications) by working closely and remaining aligned with IT Controllership and Regulatory Compliance

·  Lead end-to-end process and methods supporting all areas of Enabling Technology and data warehouse delivery to increase quality including process compliance and data controllership capabilities

·  Provide leadership for, ensure compliance to, and participate in enhancing documented IT standards

 

Qualifications/Requirements

·  M.S. or B.S. degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant IT experience related to PMO, Change Management, regulatory readiness and controllership

·  Experience in IT project management and SDLC methodologies

·  Proven broad knowledge of IT systems, processes and controls as well as use of IT controllership methodologies and standards
