Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager. This person will assist the business in .NET applications development projects, leading to the development and growth of the business through the effective use of technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Work both independently and/or as part of a larger team to deliver solutions that allow the business to work more effectively
  • Conduct strategic reviews of existing processes, applications and technologies
  • Gather and analyze detailed business requirements
  • Monitor and direct the activities of external service providers
  • Review the work of other team members for accuracy, completeness and consistency
  • Establish and implement projects
  • Define, plan and execute projects to address the underlying business requirements
  • Define the activities of the project team to achieve the project objectives
  • Effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Evaluate, select and manage the activities of any external service providers
  • Help build the reputation of the IS organization as a value-added service to the business
  • Establish consistent processes and technology across the business
  • Exploit existing investment in technology to improve solution delivery

    Requirements:

  • Experience managing .NET application development projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor communication style to different audiences including executives
  • Ability to motivate and lead
  • Understands how to assign the right people to the right tasks
  • Able to read other people and respond appropriately
  • Experience with large $10M plus projects/20 member or more team size
  • Willingness to do what is required to succeed (passionate to succeed)
  • Track record of managing sponsor’s and stakeholders well (to ensure project success)
  • Track record of meeting project milestones and deadlines
  • Strong analytic skills/ability to logically piece together solutions to problems
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, doesn’t require specific direction/details in order to move ahead
  • Quickly engenders trust and confidence
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree and PMP

  • Experience with agile development process/iterative development
