PROJECT MANAGER

Executrade's client, a top provider of services for plant maintenance, turnaround and capital construction projects is looking for a Project Manager to lead the project team through all phases pipeline and facilities projects, including development, construction, commissioning and start-up.

Responsibilities for this role include:

Utilize project management experience to develop project-specific plans, procedures, and reporting processes that support consistent, predictable project execution
Organize and control daily operations
Support estimating departments
Manage overall project performance based on metrics that include cost, schedule, scope, quality and safety
Develop and implement communication plans for all key stakeholders
Coordinate and supervise the work of third parties
Support a working environment that strives to meet HSE objectives
Interact with multiple stakeholders and team members internally and externally

Qualifications for this role include:

Pipeline and facility project management experience
Technical Degree or diploma preferred
Mechanical background preferred
strong project management and communication skills
Experience in comparable technical, operational and project management roles
Good understanding of the technical, construction and operating aspects of pipelines and related facilities
Good technical knowledge of pipeline and facility design codes, standards and regulations
Construction management, procurement and contracting experience an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
