PROJECT MANAGER - MINING

Job Description Project Manager As part of the Project Delivery team, our Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the management and coordination of all activities required to be carried out in the delivery of a project. Position accountabilities - Manage Engineering Studies and EPCM Projects - Provide leadership in the implementation of AECOM's safety management policies within the projects - Assume overall leadership and responsibility for delivering projects in accordance with Safety, Budget, Schedule and Quality KPIs - Provide mentoring and be a role model for Project Subordinates - Develop Proposals / Lead Proposal teams for bids - Create practical and effective Study and Project Plans - Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and contractors Qualifications, skills and experience required: - Degree qualified, ideally in engineering, project management or related discipline - 10+ years of industry experience, of which the last years ideally spent in the Mining industry - 2+ years project experience with familiarity in project management practices and exposure to on-site construction and commissioning - Contract Management strong understanding of the financial aspects of the projects - Strong leadership, communication and negotiating skills - Proven track-record of delivering mining projects on time and on budget
