Project Manager – AML Operations recruitment
Job Description
The role will primarily support AML Ops across its entire APAC geographic footprint, with flexibility required depending upon overall strategic approach / prioritisation.
- Manage project stakeholders
- Prepare project plan
- Manage project milestones
- Ensure GSA deliverables are achieved
- Identify, resolve or escalate critical path
- Coordinate with GS global and other workstreams’ stakeholders for the changes imposed on GSA
- Liaise with various function SMEs region to manage testing, dress-rehearsal and migration activities
- Ensure process documentation is documented (if there is a process change) and approved by governance structure
- Ensure Ops staff are trained in the changed processes
Essential
- Familiar with management instruments, values and way of working in Group Operations.
- Understanding and experience in the use of advanced Continuous Improvement tools and techniques (process mapping, process management, Lean)
- Project and Programme Management skills will be beneficial.
- 3 – 6 years overall working experience.
Desirable
- Familiar with one or more GS functions.
- Ability to apply logical, fact-finding approaches to problem solving
- The ability to think creatively and develop solutions to complex business problems.
- High level of ability to plan, implement and track projects to successful resolution within defined time-scales.
- Establish and develop project teams
- Build and maintain project plans and key milestones
- Communicate with key stakeholders and partners
- Identify, capture and appropriately escalate risks and issues
- Plan, gather and analyse data
- Validate root causes of process defects, bottlenecks and variation
The role does not encompass direct people management responsibilities but success will rely heavily on influencing skills and lateral management skills.
- Work with Country Heads, Business Heads and GS Management to support and influence outcomes and to meet business / customer requirements
- Create networks internally to share best practise, and identify opportunities for cross fertilisation of ideas.
- Represent GS in working parties, meetings and control committees as required
- Support GS initiatives impacting businesses through analyse of MI volume trends, client trends and costs to support strategic decision making
