Position Description:
Position is to provide project/portfolio management to GWM/MSIM Finance department. Candidate should have at least 5-7 years experience, with at least 4 years in project management. Finance industry experience also required.
Skills Required:
Hands-on project management
• Proficiency in all phases of Project Management Lifecycle
• Knowledge of PMBOK standards/PMP certification preferred
• Responsible for end-to-end coordination/ management of large-scale projects (walk user through business requirements writing, manage project plan, track issues)
• Set up and manage appropriate meetings, coordinate communication among stakeholders
Project and portfolio reporting
• Report on all projects within the portfolio on a regular basis - work with project owners to report on status (issues/risks, milestones, deliverables, key decisions, etc.)
• Prepare portfolio-level reports for senior management (exception reports, project metrics, etc.)
Skills Desired:
• Conduct cost/benefit analyses for critical projects
• Assist management with preparations for presentations and offsites.
• Work with PMO Management to define business and portfolio strategy.
