Project Manager -Asset Management-Front Office recruitment

As a Project Manager within Group Operations Business Change, you will be asked to deliver a broad range of projects encompassing technical upgrades, process automation and enhancements to internally developed systems.

The Business Change function manages a roadmap of projects on behalf of a number of business units. Typically these projects are generally the more complex projects – based on timeline criticality, risk or cost. The annual project roadmap, encompasses technical and functional upgrades, product development and revenue generating projects as well as initiatives around operational models and risk reduction.

Whilst we would ideally like to hear from applicants who are currently in a business reporting line, we have enjoyed considerabel success with IT Project Managers who are keen to get closer to the business and front office in particular

Together with current Asset/Wealth Management and/or Private Banking all applicants must have

• Good knowledge of the wider Investment industry

• Use of Structured Project management methods  

• Project planning and management using MS Project

• Good understanding of Front Office, processes

• Management of external Vendors in a project delivery context

• Experience of managing Technical upgrades e.g Thinkfolio, Algo, Swift, Golden Source   

• Experience of Stakeholder management

• Experience of managing Project Boards/Steering Committees

• Management of virtual and direct project teams

• Experience of the full project development lifecycle

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
