A leader in Financial Services software and payments solutions is looking for a strong Senior Project Manager to join their growing Professional Services delivery team. Reporting to the APAC Director, you will oversee and manage the services business for the entire region of Pacific/Australia, and also support the sales and services teams in project management of customer requirements and budgets.
As the Senior Project Manager you will also oversee various aspects of the projects which may include research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit. A client facing role where you will liaison between the company and customer in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Other responsibilities include :
- Manage projects of current and new customers across multiple phases
- Provide accurate information about business needs and priorities
- Provide leadership to the project team - defining project resources, performance reviews and pre and post implementation evaluations
- Develop project plan schedules and ensure timely completion of projects, within budget
- Manage potential delivery problems and work to mitigate any risks
- Coordinate resources at local and globally level
- Maintain project documentation and ensure appropriate communications occur
- Partner and build relationships with the clients, users and technical staff to build strong cross-functional teams that can work through project challenges.
- Ensure the project scope is clearly communicated to the client.
Requirements:
- 10 - 15 years in project management with relevant Financial Services/Banking industry experience
- An understanding of e-payment systems, money transfers and payment systems and other related financial technologies is a distinct advantage
- Resourceful, analytical, process-oriented, customer-orientated and a team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Ability to travel at times
